When the Missionary Church of Canada first came into existence in 1979, Rev. Alf Rees pushed to have a gathering of Missionary Church Presidents from around the world. The First International Missionary Church Conference was held in Jamaica Feb. 22 to March 1, 1979. (Emphasis, April 15, 1979, p. 12-13). The second international conference of Missionary Church National Presidents was held Sept. 8-11, 1986 in the Dominican Republic (Emphasis, Nov., 1986, p. 12). There was later a lull in its activity but it was revived again in about the year 2000 and its name changed to World Partners International.
The President and World Partners Director of the EMCC attend each of the gatherings. Representatives from Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, USA and Canada gathered in April, 2013.Part of EMCC World Partners
