Scope and content
The work in Nigeria began in 1901 with the Banfields as missionaries. In 1978 the United Missionary Society formally turned the work over to the United Missionary Church of Africa. However, a number of missionaries continued and worked under the UMCA organized first as the Fellowship of Invited Missionaries and then as World Partners Nigeria.
